New England Patriots tight end Patrick Chung said Monday that he can no longer control his emotions during the final moments of his team’s victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Chung said he is “shocked” by the way he was treated by fans after the Patriots’ stunning AFC title victory over Baltimore in the AFC title game.
Chun said he doesn’t know if the reaction was a good one, but said he wasn’t surprised by the reaction from the crowd.
“I was shocked because they’re my fans, so I don’t know.
They were nice.
I mean, it’s just sad,” Chung said.
“I don’t really know why people reacted like that.
They just have their feelings.
That’s the first thing.
I don’ know why.
I’m just disappointed, really.”
Chung played in all 16 games this season and scored one touchdown.
