Houston Texans quarterback Josh Johnson is set to participate in a workout with the Houston Texans at their practice facility Thursday, a league source told Fox Sports.
Johnson is set for a workout at the Houston facility on Thursday.
The workout will be conducted by a player trainer and Johnson will participate in the workout in the afternoon, the source said.
Johnson has yet to sign a contract with the Texans, though he was a first-round pick of the Texans in 2012.
Johnson was acquired from the Indianapolis Colts in a trade for a fourth-round draft pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Johnson did not practice on Tuesday and did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
The Texans had a bye week last season, but Johnson had two starts and was the team’s starter for the final seven games.
Johnson missed the first two games of the 2015 season after tearing his ACL.
